Southern Sports Academy is excited to offer the Indigenous Talent Identification program once again, with support from Underwriting Agencies Australia (UAA).
The fourth annual Talent ID Day will be held on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025. Registrations will be open in the coming months.

What to Wear: School sports uniform with running shoes.
What to Bring: Water bottle and some snacks for the day. Lunch will be provided.

How to register: please complete the REGISTRATION FORM by Friday, 19th July
The program is open to both males and females who turn 13, 14,15 or 16 years of age in 2025
Be living or attending school in the SSA catchment area (please refer to the list below)

It is a ‘first of its kind’ opportunity, with the Aboriginal &Torres Strait Islander Talent ID Day designed to:
-Advance opportunities in sport
-Develop a platform for athletes to be introduced to & identified in multiple sports
-Play or participate in sport-specific skills in a fun atmosphere
-Showcase skills in front of coaches who are of the highest quality and well-versed in talent identification
Those identified will be offered the opportunity to advance to funded scholarship positions with SSA Scholarship programs.
