In other news, SSA had 7 riders at the National Cy

In other news, SSA had 7 riders at the National Cycling Champs over the weekend! Our first rider off was Lexie in the time trial where she came 13th despite mechanical issues throughout the ride. Then it was road race time where some awesome results were had, Lexie 6th, Chelsea 9th, Boston 40th. In the boys 17 group there was a massive group sprint to finish which saw Sydney 33rd, Pat 42nd and Hunter 47th. Unfortunately Angus had a mechanical DNF. Next was Criterium where all riders had to make it through a series of heats to reach the final. In the final we had Lexie, Chelsea, Sydney and Pat who came 6th, 15th, 8th, and 12th respectively. Congratulations Sarah! 👏🏽 meanwhile our teams are competing fiercely with Div 1 having 3 wins and a draw while Div 2 have won 2 from 4 games! Our teams are back in action today for the final day! Connectivity Traumatic Brain Injury Australia has a FREE 15 minute online Short Course to cover Sport-Related Concussions.

The course covers the essentials of understanding and managing concussion, the importance of seeking medical care, and the different paths to recovery. There is also a range of fact sheets and downloadable resources, including advice on returning to sport, school and work following a concussion.
