The Southern Sports Academy 2025/2026 season is officially underway! Our annual Induction Day in Wagga brought together over 200 talented athletes across 11 sports programs, all ready to kick off what promises to be an exciting year.
The day was packed with engaging sessions, from sports integrity and nutrition to recovery, strength and conditioning, and fitness testing. Athletes dived into each session with energy and enthusiasm, demonstrating the talent, teamwork, and positive vibes that are already shaping the season.
A huge thank you to everyone who made the trip to Wagga, our partners RuralFit and Nutrient Nation for sharing their expertise, and our amazing coaches for rolling up their sleeves and supporting wherever needed.
As Regional Manager, Jared Kahlefeldt said,
“The day was fantastic. Our sessions kept athletes engaged and challenged, and it was incredible to see local talent embracing every opportunity to learn and grow. With less than seven years until the Brisbane 2032 Olympics, it’s exciting to watch these young athletes develop and come through the ranks.”
