Regional Academies of Sport and Team Spirit Sign 3-Year Partnership for Athlete Uniform and Merchandise Supply

The Regional Academies of Sport (RAS) is proud to announce a new partnership with Team Spirit Sports, a leading Australian custom apparel manufacturer.

Under this landmark three-year agreement, Team Spirit Sports will be the official apparel supplier of uniforms and merchandise to all athletes, coaches and staff across six of the Academies of Sport in New South Wales and one in South Australia

The partnership currently includes the following:

  • Central Coast Academy of Sport (NSW)
  • Hunter Academy of Sport (NSW)
  • North Coast Academy of Sport (NSW)
  • Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NSW)
  • Southern Sports Academy (NSW)
  • Limestone Coast Academy of Sport (SA)

Together, the RAS network supports the development of over 2,500 athletes and 450 coaches annually across regional Australia, identifying and nurturing more than 5,000 emerging talents each year.…

Southern Sports Academy Indigenous Follow-Up Weekend Celebrates Culture, Community and Connection

On Sunday, 20th July, the Southern Sports Academy proudly welcomed back 21 Indigenous athletes for a follow-up day full of culture, care, and community as part of our ongoing UAA Indigenous Talent Program.

Regional Talent Shines at 2025 RTAP Camp in Coffs Harbour

From July 15 to 18, Forty-Four of the most promising athletes and para-athletes from across the 11 Regional Academies of Sport came together in Coffs Harbour for the 2025 Regional Talent Athlete Program (RTAP). Hosted by the North Coast Academy of Sport, the camp provided a high-level development experience focusing on personal growth, physical preparation, and life as an elite regional athlete.

Southern Sports Academy and Active Health extend partnership for another Three Years

The Southern Sports Academy (SSA) is proud to announce the extension of its long standing partnership with Active Health, a leading Riverina based physiotherapy and allied health clinic, for a further three year term.
This renewed agreement marks a decade long collaboration between the two organisations, continuing a shared commitment to supporting the development of regional NSW’s pre-elite junior athletes through high quality injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services.
