The Southern Sports Academy (SSA) is proud to announce the extension of its long standing partnership with Active Health, a leading Riverina based physiotherapy and allied health clinic, for a further three year term.
This renewed agreement marks a decade long collaboration between the two organisations, continuing a shared commitment to supporting the development of regional NSW’s pre-elite junior athletes through high quality injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services.
Active Health, known for its exceptional reputation in physiotherapy, exercise physiology, podiatry, Pilates, paediatric physiotherapy and group classes, has been a trusted partner of the SSA since 2017. Over the past seven years, their experienced clinicians have provided expert care to SSA athletes both in clinic and on-site at sporting camps and competitions, playing a vital role in managing and treating injuries while fostering athlete education around performance and recovery.
SSA Regional Manager Jared Kahlefeldt commented on the renewal, “We are excited to announce this continued partnership. Active Health have been strong supporters of ours for many years, and their physios have built up many great relationships with past and current athletes. It’s great for a reputable local organisation like Active Health to partner with us to work together in getting the best out of our regional NSW athletes. We’re thrilled that this partnership will now extend into a decade long relationship.”

Andrew Preston, Director of Active Health, added, “We love working with the pre-elite junior athletes from Southern Sports Academy. Being able to help educate and be a part of their sporting journey to something bigger is rewarding for us. We love seeing their development and their commitment to training and injury management. Watching their progression through to, hopefully, the elite level is always exciting.”

With this renewed partnership, SSA athletes can continue to benefit from world class treatment and education as they pursue their sporting dreams. Both organisations are committed to growing the relationship even further and providing the next generation of regional athletes with the best support possible.
