The Southern Sports Academy (SSA) is proud to announce the continuation of its valued partnership with Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) for a further three years. This renewed agreement strengthens an already long-standing relationship and reaffirms SCA’s commitment to supporting the next generation of pre-elite athletes across southern NSW.
As a Platinum Media Partner, Southern Cross Austereo – through its popular radio stations Triple M Riverina and Hit 93.1 – has played a pivotal role in raising the profile of SSA athletes and programs within the community. From on-air promotion to digital support and athlete education, SCA continues to be a key player in the Academy’s mission to support and promote young sporting talent.
SSA Regional Manager, Jared Kahlefeldt commented on the renewal, “It’s fantastic to have Southern Cross Austereo continue on as a platinum media partner with Southern Sports Academy. They’ve been instrumental in providing exposure for our pre-elite athletes across southern NSW on the radio, and by holding education workshops for our athletes in media and social media training. We sincerely value the support of SCA and the role they play in our academy.”
In addition to promotional support, SCA has delivered valuable off-field learning experiences for SSA athletes, including workshops focused on media presentation and responsible social media use—equipping young athletes with crucial skills for their sporting and personal development.
SSA is excited to continue this impactful partnership and looks forward to working alongside Southern Cross Austereo over the next three years to celebrate, support, and grow regional sporting talent.
