2025/26 INAUGURAL TRIATHLON PROGRAM

The Southern Sports Academy is thrilled to announce the launch of our inaugural Triathlon Program for the 2025/2026 scholarship year – a dynamic new addition to our sport program lineup!

We’re proud to welcome Olympians Brad and Radka Kahlefeldt as our program coaches.

• Brad Kahlefeldt, a Wagga Wagga local, is a two-time Olympian, 2006 Commonwealth Games gold medallist, and boasts multiple ITU World Cup wins.

• Radka Kahlefeldt represented the Czech Republic at the 2012 Olympics and holds over 30 IRONMAN 70.3 podium finishes, including 5th place at the 2018 World Championships.

This program is a fantastic opportunity for local triathletes to gain individual skill development, access elite coaching and physical preparation, become part of the Triathlon NSW athlete development pathway, work towards higher representative selection

The program bridges the gap between club-level competition and the Triathlon NSW Junior Development Squad, giving athletes the tools and support they need to reach the next level.

With Brad and Radka leading the charge, this program promises to be fun, challenging, and rewarding for passionate triathletes across the region.
