Grace performed extremely well at ACPA All Schools in December. She came first in U14G 100m & LJ, 2nd in TJ and 3rd in 200m. This means that she has qualified for Nationals in 4 events which will be held in April at the Sydney Olympic Park. Although Grace has done well enough to qualify in the Open category in all four of her events she will concentrate on the Juniors section.
Her form has been consistent as she performed PB’s in all of her events at the recent Wagga Carnival (on grass), even breaking some long standing records – the LJ by about 60cm, a massive increase! This is all very promising for her future in the sport.
Grace will be getting some handy competition in the lead up with NSW Juniors in a week and Little Athletics about to begin.
